Don’t try this at home, really

There’s a school of thought out there that believes that a computer and a sense of art is all it takes to do this. Most of those folks will also tell you most advertising doesn’t work anyway, so you should spend as little as possible. You know, those two things just might be connected. Our team includes all of these people for a very good reason. Better tools make things easier and faster, but it hasn’t gotten any easier to understand people. It takes a special skill to write words, compose
images and create scripts that make people say “yes,” smile and sign on the dotted line. If anything, all of the media choices make it more complex.

Your TAG team includes people who eat, sleep and dream this stuff. They read and research more about their work than you’re likely to encounter in a lifetime.

About Us title

Who we are

TAG was established over 23 years ago with a firm foundation in broadcast media. We have evolved substantially during this time to meet the many media solutions our clients deserve and leverage our strengths on behalf of our clients every day. Evolutionary and responsive, we've built our team based upon their ability to adapt, move quickly and effectively. More than anything else, we’re people who like long relationships so we get deeply, ridiculously involved in our clients’ success.

We hit bullseyes on the run

OK, so we all know media is changing. The way people use it is changing. Culture is changing. Heck, the facts that we use to make decisions seem to change every day so it’s pretty reasonable to assume old solutions won’t fix new problems.

insights

Insights happen in that moment of clarity when you see two (or more) familiar things in a new light and realize something brand new is born. They are the springboard of creativity and the reason we simply couldn’t do anything else for a living.

case studies

In the old days (You know. Last year.), case studies taught you how to do things. They were almost like recipes in a cookbook. Follow the pattern and you could be reasonably sure to duplicate the outcome. Case studies today are a bit different. They’re less about the steps and more about the principles they demonstrate. They explain the insights (there they are again!) that led to the cha-ching moment. Around here, we call that the Specialty of the House.

We really like to tell our stories in video. There’s the recliner and the popcorn and, well, the fact that video makes our brains happier than pretty much any other medium. Lean back and check out the gallery. We’ll show you what we do, how we do it and maybe toss in an interesting story or two.

Current Culture: Multi-generational Workplace

04.15.14

For decades, employees from different social backgrounds, educational backgrounds and even different generations have worked side by side. New employees fresh out of school and eager to make a name for themselves sitting next to employees who are reminiscing on a life-long career and preparing for a relaxing retirement. In advertising, we are always striving to produce a seamless message across all mediums.  Does a multi-generational workforce aid in our never-ending quest for the next great...Read More »
